Custom Music Discs v2.1 Update

Hello, Minecraft music lovers!

I'm thrilled to announce the release of the Custom Music Discs v2.1 update! This update brings exciting new content to your Minecraft world, enhancing your in-game musical experience.

The Update should be coming out on all of our platforms in the next few days (depending on the platform)

What's New in v2.1?

Five New Music Discs:

  1. Off Pepper Steak

  2. Never Ever Going to the Nether

  3. Crafting Recipes

  4. I CRINGED, DAN

  5. Mirror, Sailboat

These new tracks add even more variety and fun to your gameplay. Whether you're crafting, exploring, or just relaxing in your base, there's a disc for every occasion.

This update is also special because Custom Music Discs v2.1 includes the first-ever requested Music Disc!

Updated for Minecraft 1.21: The Data Pack and Resource Pack are now updated to Minecraft 1.21. Enjoy the latest features and improvements and the three new Vanilla Music Discs!

Detailed Changes

Datapack changes:

  • Completely reworked the way Music Discs are implemented, now using the Jukebox Components added in MC 1.21. This means the pack has a much smaller performance impact on the game

  • Completely reworked the Advancements tree

  • Added 5 new Music Discs

Resource pack changes:

  • Added Translation files for the Jukebox Components system

  • Shortened Soothing Minecraft Tracks to 15 minutes to reduce file size

  • Made improvements to music files

NOTE: Discs from older versions will not work!

Looking Ahead

We’re also working on an exciting new feature – a comprehensive wiki page for Custom Music Discs. This upcoming resource will provide detailed information about all the music discs, crafting recipes, and much more, helping you get the most out of your Minecraft experience.

Stay tuned for more updates!

Thank you for your continued support and feedback. Keep those song requests coming, and enjoy the new music!
