Strap in and look up—it’s time to Chase the Skies! CMD v7 is here, and while this update might only add one new disc, it's packed with technical innovation, atmospheric exploration, and powerful new tools to guide you through the world of CMD.

New Version, New Direction


CMD v7 updates the pack to Minecraft 1.21.6: Chase the Skies, making it one of the fastest follow-ups to a major Minecraft version once again. This tight link with Mojang’s naming was the perfect excuse for our own sky-themed twist on the update.


👋 Say Hello to the In-Game CMD Wiki & Info Hub


CMD v7 uses Minecraft’s brand-new Dialog System to bring you something truly game-changing: the CMD Built-In Wiki & Info Hub!

Now, instead of tabbing out to a browser, you can explore disc lists, features, and helpful explanations directly in-game. This will grow over time, but even in v7, it’s already a powerful addition—especially for newcomers or players on survival adventures.



⚓ The Mayday Ship Has Crash-Landed… In the End?


Introducing the mysterious Mayday Ship, a brand-new structure that now floats eerily in the End void. Abandoned and full of secrets, this cursed sky vessel is the only place you’ll find CMD’s newest disc:


🎵 Mayday – TheFatRat (feat. Laura Brehm)

This emotional, skybound anthem fits the theme perfectly—and it’s a disc you’ll need to discover for yourself.


⚠️ Note: The Mayday disc has no crafting recipe, no advancement, and no CMD Wiki entry (yet). It also does not count toward the Complete CMD advancement that awards the Sweden (Hans Zimmer Edition) (slowed + reverb) disc.


🌐 CMD Website Updates


While the in-game Wiki is a huge step forward, our online presence hasn’t been left behind. We’ve launched key updates to the Main Page and About Page on the CMD website, making it easier to explore what CMD is all about.

Coming later this summer, CMD v7.1 will bring:


  • Remixed classics in the long-awaited Pixel-Mix Update

  • A rework of the advancement system

  • Improvements to the in-game Wiki

  • Long-overdue updates to the CMD Web Wiki

  • And possibly a wave of renewed social media activity
