Get ready to face the darkness in our next major update: CMD v8 - “Scary Chambers.” This eerie new chapter introduces a haunting new structure - The Underchamber - a darker, more mysterious twist on the Trial Chambers from vanilla Minecraft. What secrets lie below? You’ll have to explore to find out...

This update will feature 4 brand-new music discs, each fitting perfectly into the eerie, echoing atmosphere of the Underchamber. Expect a mix of haunting melodies, mysterious vibes, and a few surprises lurking in the shadows.

📦 Resource Pack Compression Process Begins

Behind the scenes, we’re starting the Resource Pack size reduction process. Because of Modrinth’s upload limits, the Global version of CMD couldn’t be released there — and that’s something we want to fix.

Over the next updates, we’ll begin gradually compressing audio files to reduce total pack size while keeping sound quality virtually unchanged. This will make CMD easier to install and update, especially for players on lower-end systems.

Think of it as a silent optimisation phase — literally. 🎧

As the Scary Chambers open their eerie doors this November, the CMD Team is already looking beyond the shadows. Once the dust settles in the Underchamber, something entirely different awaits - a world filled with calm, charm, and a touch of seasonal magic.
